Job Summary Underwrite life insurance risk in accordance to the concurred authority; ensure meeting personal KPI and work as a team to meet department’s and company’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and counter sign life insurance risks up to the concurred authority
• Work with immediate superiors and other managers to ensure personal KPI and department’s KPI are ment, this includes:
• Daily personal productivity is met
• Work with other team members to ensure overall department turnaround time are met

To quality underwriting practice which includes prudent, competitive and consistent underwriting decision,

• the set guidelines (internal and reinsurer manuals); adhere to legal and compliance requirements, company and regional underwriting policy
• Initiate and foster good working relationship with the Sales Team and agents
• Support initiative and project that are initiated from Group to ensure that we are aligned with the Group and company direction
• Any other duties as and when deemed necessary

Key Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
• At least 4 years of working experience in underwriting or life insurance or related field
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
