Deskripsi Kerja

Veterinary Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join the team .

This role is vital in supporting our veterinarians and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the clinic.

The work can be physically demanding, involving cleaning duties, animal handling, and occasional heavy lifting.

What matters most is a positive attitude, willingness to contribute, and a genuine love for animals.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Assist veterinarians with day-to-day tasks and patient care
• Safely restrain dogs and cats during procedures (e.g. blood collection, ultrasound)
• Operate in-house laboratory equipment (hematology and biochemistry analyzers)
• Support veterinarians during surgeries, including:
• Preparing the operating theatre
• Monitoring patients
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments after procedures

Animal Care & Welfare

• Feed and monitor hospitalized and boarding animals, ensuring comfort and well-being
• Maintain kennels and catteries in a clean and hygienic condition
• Observe animal behavior and health status, and report any abnormalities

Clinic Operations

• Maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene of the clinic
• Manage supplies, including receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries(pet food, medications — requires heavy lifting)
• Support the veterinary team with general duties as required

Requirements

• Education level open; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Comfortable handling dogs and cats
• Physically fit — able to handle cleaning duties, animal restraint, and occasional heavy lifting
• Compassionate, reliable, and responsible
• Willing to work as part of a team
